What do GAF warranties cover?

How do GAF roofing warranties benefit you?

If you turn to Superior Construction Co. for a GAF Roofing System (defined as GAF Lifetime Shingles, with at least three qualifying accessories) installation, you are automatically entitled to the coverage provided by the GAF Roofing System Limited Warranty. This provides a lifetime warranty on shingles and qualifying accessory products, along with a Smart Choice Protection Period of up to 10 years. 

If you are eligible for the System Plus® Limited Warranty, you can benefit from the same coverage available in the GAF Roofing System Limited Warranty, an extension of up to 50 years for the Smart Choice Protection Period, plus a complete roof tear-off if necessary. What is the Smart Choice Protection Period?

This refers to the crucial period of time following the GAF roof installation where the coverage provided in the warranty is non-prorated. During this time, GAF will pay you the full reasonable cost of labor to repair or re-cover defective GAF products. After this period ends, the repair, re-cover and replacement GAF products provided will be reduced to reflect the use you have received from the roofing system and its accessories.
